3 A.M. Again creates music out of Gloucester, Massachusetts. It is music that feels like it comes from a very private world, though it is made by a person with a very public day job.

The music might chime, drone, strut, howl, and buzz, and it can feel intimate or cinematic, but it is always on the search for beauty. Part of that search led 3 A.M. Again to begin a unique collaboration with artist and musician Jodie Lowther, whose transfixing images frame the music with a psychedelia that belies a dark center.

After releasing a string of self-produced EPs starting in 2015, 3 A.M. Again joined South African label Subjangle to produce four full-length CD releases between 2020 and 2024. The CDs, boasting multiple panels of art by Jodie Lowther and sleeve design by multi-media artist Stephen Bagley, became collectors' items and earned 3 A.M. Again listeners around the world.

3 A.M. Again has now found a home with its artistic collaborator, Jodie Lowther, on her label The Cat Collects.  "The Psychic's Letter" was released on The Cat Collects in the spring of 2025.
